Golden Mushroom Meatballs
Meatballs Baked in creamy cheese sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped fine
- 3/4 cup red potato, shredded
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 10 oz can Golden Mushroom Soup
- 2 Tbsp water or milk to thin soup (optional)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 Tbsp oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix together, beef, shredded onion, potato, and carrots. Add egg and seasoning to mixture and stir well. Form into meatballs.
- In saute pan, brown meatballs in 2 T. oil, turning frequently to brown all sides.
- Place meatballs into 8×8 baking dish. Mix water or milk with soup to thin and pour over meatballs.
- Bake for 35 minutes. Add shredded cheddar cheese and bake for additional 5 -10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serving ideas. Serves with noodles
