Golden Mushroom Meatballs

Meatballs Baked in creamy cheese sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 3/4 cup red potato, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 10 oz can Golden Mushroom Soup
  • 2 Tbsp water or milk to thin soup (optional)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  1. Mix together, beef, shredded onion, potato, and carrots. Add egg and seasoning to mixture and stir well. Form into meatballs.
  2. In saute pan, brown meatballs in 2 T. oil, turning frequently to brown all sides.
  3. Place meatballs into 8×8 baking dish. Mix water or milk with soup to thin and pour over meatballs.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes. Add shredded cheddar cheese and bake for additional 5 -10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serving ideas. Serves with noodles
