Sopapilla Cheesecake
A perfect way to enjoy a little bit of cheesecake heaven, any time of day. Will keep for several days.
Ingredients
- 2 8oz packages cream cheese
- 2 8 oz cans Crescent roll dough
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 Tblsp ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
- Unroll 1 can crescent roll dough, place on ungreased 13 x 9 baking dish. Stretch to cover bottom, pressing firmly on perforations to seal.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed. spread over dough in baking dish.
- Unroll 2nd can of dough and carefully place on top of cream cheese layer. Pinch seams together carefully.
- Pour melted butter carefully over top of dough. Mix remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over butter.
- Bake 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool 20 minutes. Refrigerate for easy cutting into bars.
Cover and refrigerate any remaining bars.
