Ruby’s Peach Cobbler
A simple “made from scratch” Cobbler recipe….old school… This recipe was shared by a family cousin, who at 90, still drives, participates in the ladies church group and sewing circle and volunteers at Farm Bureau and County 4-H Youth Fair events with her husband…She’s doing something right and so blessed! This came tucked into my birthday card she personally delivered to me on a Sunday morning at church…
Ingredients
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- Fresh or canned Peaches
- Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon
Directions
- Still till smooth (first 4 ingredients), melt 1/4 cup butte in shallow baking pan, pour batter into butter.
- Cover with cut fresh or canned peaches.
- Top with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake 375 degrees till brown, about 45 minutes.
