Glady’s Cheesy Potatoes
A family favorite from my favorite Aunt. She says she got the idea for Cheesy Potatoes from reading the ingredients for Mac and Cheese on the 8oz box of macaroni, substituted Baking potatoes and Processed Cheese (the original of course!)Ingredients
Baking potatoes
The Cheesy Sauce –
- 4 Tbsp margarine melted
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup processed cheese (cut in chunks)
- Mix melted margarine into the flour, add milk and heat and stir.
- When sauce thickens, add cheese.
- Boil potatoes and drain.
- Pour in buttered casserole dish and pour cheese sauce over.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 -35 minutes.
