Peach Cobbler

Easy way to make a simple dessert, and a little Ice Cream only make it better.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large cans peaches drained, and saved syrup/juices
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 11 glass baking dish.
  2. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, cornstarch together. Add the milk a little at a time, to keep from lumping.
  3. Pour in baking dish. Gently spoon peaches on top.
  4. After you spoon the peaches on top, gently pour the syrup from cans on top. Judge if pour both cans or only one.
  5. Sprinkle on the cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
