Coconut Rice

Anytime Rice, since ingredients can be from the pantry, ready to create another way to enjoy rice…

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cans coconut milk (13.5 oz. each)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Combine and bring to a gentle boil the water, coconut milk, sugar, and salt.
  2. Stir in rice, reduce heat to low,  and cover with a lid.
  3. Cook for 25-30 minutes.

Can garnish with toasted coconut and a little fresh cilantro.
