Cowboy Candy Jalapenos

Warning!!! These are addictive!!!

There are several versions and now “store-bought” varieties of these delicious little candied Jalapenos.

Serve them on top of your favorite crackers which are spread with cream cheese to make little  bites of happiness.

Ingredients

1 large can Jalapeños (Nacho sliced)

8 cups Sugar

Directions

  1. Drain Jalapeños in colander.
  2. Put Jalapeños and sugar in large pot. Stir gently not to break up Jalapeños.
  3. Cook till boils, stirring occasionally. Let cool slightly.
  4. Put Jalapeños & juice in clean mason jars with lids. (wipe off jar, may be sticky). Let cool and then put on lid.
  5. Turn up and down several times over next few days. Store at room temperature.

Refrigerate after opening.

Great to give a jar for gift, just tie a little ribbon around jar lid….
