Cowboy Candy Jalapenos
Warning!!! These are addictive!!!
There are several versions and now “store-bought” varieties of these delicious little candied Jalapenos.
Serve them on top of your favorite crackers which are spread with cream cheese to make little bites of happiness.
Ingredients
1 large can Jalapeños (Nacho sliced)
8 cups Sugar
Directions
- Drain Jalapeños in colander.
- Put Jalapeños and sugar in large pot. Stir gently not to break up Jalapeños.
- Cook till boils, stirring occasionally. Let cool slightly.
- Put Jalapeños & juice in clean mason jars with lids. (wipe off jar, may be sticky). Let cool and then put on lid.
- Turn up and down several times over next few days. Store at room temperature.
Refrigerate after opening.
Great to give a jar for gift, just tie a little ribbon around jar lid….
