Beer Bread
This bread recipe is as easy as 1 -2 – 3… because it uses the powers of self-rising flour, a little sugar and a beer. I use a Shiner Premium Beer, from the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Fayette County, Texas. Instead of baking in a bread pan, I used a round cake pan to give it a denser, rustic taste.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 warm Beer (12 oz)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Whip batter well.
- Put in pan that has been greased and floured.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
Cool on rack before slicing.
tips: I use an electric knife to get slices perfect.
tips: a Breville Smart Oven is perfect for baking one loaf.
